Expert Sören Hansen explains the correct headsail trim
In two detailed video tutorials, YACHT tv shows what needs to be considered when trimming the sails and how both sails provide optimum propulsion

As soon as the Mast correctly trimmed you're ready to hit the water. But to ensure that you are not only faster but also more comfortable, the mainsail must be well adjusted. Windward leeway and heeling are just two examples that can be influenced by the trim of the mainsail.

The headsail is the actual drive of a yacht on an upwind course. Important trimming options here are the adjustable centreboard points or the halyard tension. Elvstrøm expert Sören Hansen shows step by step in the film how a headsail is optimally trimmed.
